I remember the day we found out mom, Liz, and dad, Taylor, were expecting a little one and we could not have been any more excited for them! It feels like just yesterday we heard the exciting news and to now be typing first birthday and cake smash blows my mind!

Lets take a look back before getting to the fun birthday session. Taylor and I both wore our Cubs t shirts to compliment Turner’s jersey.” I think they looked great together and fit the theme perfectly![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][imageeffect image=”4150″ overlay_state=”hover” lightbox=”yes” target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The session location was Cary High School, “Home of the Imps”, baseball field because that’s where Turner’s Daddy, Taylor, went to school and played baseball. Also it went along well with the upcoming baseball themed birthday party![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][imageeffect overlay_state=”hover” target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][imageeffect image=”4144″ overlay_state=”hover” lightbox=”yes” target=”_self”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]They brought a glove, bat, ball, balloons and a cute miniature baseball smash cake for props. We put them all to great use![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][imageeffect image=”4153″ overlay_state=”hover” lightbox=”yes” target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][imageeffect image=”4170″ overlay_state=”hover” lightbox=”yes” target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Mom’s advice to parents planning a future session is “It helps to browse online for some inspiration pictures for poses that you’d like to try. I had 5 or 6 different types of pictures I wanted us to do and knowing what we wanted to do ahead of time really worked for us and helped the session move at a nice pace. Turner has his Daddy’s short attention span so I knew we needed to have somewhat of a game plan going in to our session 🙂 “.

I also asked how she felt the milestone package went overall and she said “It was such a great experience and we will treasure these pictures forever!”. That is why I take such pride in my work so that families will have beautiful tangible memories to hold onto forever. It is such a compliment to hear from parents when I accomplish this!
