One of the biggest honors of being a photographer for me personally is to be asked to capture the most precious moments of others lives. I really do love every single session I am privileged to photograph, but there is just something extra special about photographing a proposal…especially when I love the couple!

Since the day Krista introduced me to Dillon and I first photographed them as a couple I saw and felt the love they shared! I looked forward to the day Dillon asked Krista to marry him, and when he contacted me to capture the surprise proposal I was beyond honored. Pulling off this surprise was no easy task but oh so worth it! Krista needed head shots for hew new career as a real estate agent so we set it up to take them in her favorite spot in downtown Raleigh on the Boylan Bridge at sunrise. Little did she know while I was taking her head shot that her future husband was standing behind her ready to ask her to spend their lives together!!!
