Happy new year to all! Hoping everyone had a great Christmas and holiday with your families. Today is my first day back in the office in a couple of weeks, and I am working hard to get back in the swing of things. My first blogpost of the year is from a first birthday and mommy & me session from a few weeks ago.

I could not think of a better session to share to start off this new year than happy little Lorelei. From the moment mom, Erin, contacted me to photograph Lorelei’s first birthday I knew I was going to love working with them. Mom warned me that Lorelei would be shy in the beginning, but thankfully to our surprise she warmed right up! Once she warmed up Lorelei walked all over Yates Mill and was definitely in charge of the session. Between the awesome outfits, props, backdrop, and personalities I would say this session was a huge success. Enjoy more sneak previews below!
