Downtown Cary, NC | Engagement Pictures | J&C

We had the best time taking these engagement pictures and getting to know Chris and Jessi as a couple! Their session is the perfect example of why we feel it is important to include a complimentary engagement session with each of our wedding packages.

Since it all started with a beer, it was only natural that we started their engagement session with them having a beer at Bond Brothers Beer Company in downtown Cary. We then took advantage of a few spots in the area that were special to Jessi since she grew up in Cary, NC. Next was a stop at Pharmacy Bottle and Beverage for a few pictures (and maybe another beer). We ended our evening at Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, NC. These two were full of genuine smiles and laughs the entire night even after Jessi slipped and fell in the mud!I asked Jessi to tell me where and when her and Chris met. She knew the exact date and all the details. I loved hearing Jessi’s response. “We met at our mutual friend Kelly’s house on July 18, 2013. I had planned on going over after work for dinner/drinks and almost didn’t go because Chris was there and I didn’t know him and didn’t want to feel like a 3rd wheel! But I went and Chris and I ended up sitting on the front porch until 5am talking. I ended up staying at Kelly’s house that weekend just to get to know him more and we’ve been tied together ever since!”. 

These two are clearly a house divided when it comes to their favorite teams just like Carl and I. Chris loves his Tarheels, but Jessi is a die hard Wolfpack fan! Even though they are on opposite sides of the tracks with their beloved sports teams, one thing is for sure…Jessi and Chris LOVE each other and life!!!
